9月23 日上午，HKIAD 大專學界國際事務代表團聯同黃台仰會見重量級參議員、2012年美國總統選舉共和黨候選人羅姆尼(Mitt Romney)之國家安全顧問，講解《香港人權民主法案》，5 大訴求，警黑治港，學生及青年人對爭取民主自由的決心及最重要: 對香港未來2047 的意見及盼望！

9月24 日下午，Mitt Romney正式加入成為《香港人權民主法案》共同發起人！
